Inspired by nature, infused with love.

The word "Meraki" is Greek in origin, and describes the act of leaving a piece of your soul in your work. It’s putting so much love into what you do that it truly comes from the heart.

My name is Melissa, and I am a self taught fiber artist based in Northern California. I believe that our homes are a sacred space that should be filled with items that elevate our mood and reflect our inner world. That’s why it is my goal to craft unique décor, made with loving intentions, so that each piece brings a little more happiness into your space.

The inspiration for most of my work is derived from my deep love for nature. This is reflected in the designs I create, as well as a continuous effort to produce eco-friendly goods and operate in a more sustainable way.

Sustainability matters.
Here’s how this small business is keeping it eco-friendly:

Eco-friendly cord

I exclusively use Ganxxet cord for all of my macrame work. This cotton cord is made by recycling scraps that are discarded from the garment industry. They select similar color pieces for each cord, so it’s never actually dyed. The process uses half the energy and water than that of making conventional cotton cord!

Always recycling.

I save as many scrap cords as I can to reuse in other projects. I also recycle shipping supplies to send out orders in whenever possible.
